Caring Together for a Happier Tomorrow: Lancôme is committed to building a more sustainable future

With its "Caring Together for a Happier Tomorrow " sustainability program, Lancôme is tackling today’s most pressing environmental and societal challenges to help build a happier and more sustainable future. The program developed by Lancôme is based on three pillars:

Bring the World to Bloom

It aims at protecting various forms of biodiversity, by reducing Lancôme’s impact thanks to formula and packaging innovations, implementing regenerative agricultural practices, and developing partnerships with leading institutions to help preserve biodiversity.
To date, 99% of roses used in Lancôme skincare and makeup are organic, and the aim is to reach 100% by 2025. Moreover, by 2030, 100% of all major raw materials will be sourced in a socially responsible and sustainable way.

Live Responsibly

It aims at empowering consumers to make sustainable consumption choices thanks to products that are refillable, rechargeable, and recyclable.
Lancôme commits that 50% of its products will be refillable or rechargeable by 2025.

Write Her Future

The Write Her Future program launched in 2017 in partnership with the International NGO CARE and 15 other local NGOs, aims at fighting against inequalities by providing women with access to education through literacy, scholarship, and mentoring programs.
By 2022, Lancôme targets to reach 150,000 beneficiaries. To date more than 75,000 women have benefitted from this program across 19 countries and regions.
