We are exploring new forms of cooperation all along the supply chain: ethical sourcing, training, sustainable partnerships… These actions give concrete form to our principles, allowing us to take an active role in shaping a better environment for everyone, especially where communities are most vulnerable. At L'Oréal, we are placing a particular emphasis on the improvement of women’s rights, health and standards of living.
To us, sharing growth means working to provide fair wages, encourage good practices and contribute to the preservation of the environment – in order to have a tangible, lasting, positive impact on people’s lives.

L’Oréal aims to have a positive impact all along the supply chain. For 10 years now, we have been working closely with our suppliers and subcontractors to improve opportunities and job accessibility for disadvantaged communities throughout the world. By dedicating a sizable portion of our company’s global purchases to this goal, we have helped tens of thousands of vulnerable people, usually excluded from the jobs market, to find – and keep – work and a decent and durable income. We also encourage our partners to pursue a similar policy within their own ecosystems, creating a virtuous circle that has been growing for years.
Like the Group, our brands use their influential capacity to raise awareness and encourage action.
Choosing their own particular causes, they conduct awareness campaigns and are involved with programs that aim to support vulnerable communities or help safeguard our planet.
Their commitment is all the stronger for being a reflection of the brands’ DNA, history and values.
