Biolage R.a.w.: A Product Range With An Exceptional Environmental Profile

At the end of 2016, the Matrix professional products brand launched a new range called Biolage R.A.W.

All the formulas were developed from a short list of ingredients and exclude sulfates, silicons and parabens. Some R.A.W. products have 100% natural ingredients, such as Replenish Oilmist. The formulas of all the shampoos and conditioners are 98-99% biodegradable, and Recover shampoo also has a water footprint that is at least 75% lower than average in the category of “shampoos for sensitive or very sensitive hair”.

In 2017, the Nourish Shampoo and the Conditioner from the range achieved Cradle to Cradle Certified™ SILVER. This independent certification is based on an evaluation of the products’ material health, material reutilization, renewable energy and carbon management, water management and social fairness. It highlights the highest environmental performances of this Biolage R.A.W. products.
