L'Oréal Canada Wins Solidarity Innovation Award for Community Engagement!
At L'Oréal, creating beauty that moves the world is at the heart of everything we do. This principle is perfectly illustrated by our annual Holiday Market, an initiative recently honored with the prestigious Centraide of Greater Montreal Solidarity Innovation Award. Presented at the annual Solidaires event, this award recognizes outstanding philanthropic and community initiatives. It specifically acknowledges L'Oréal Canada's commitment to going above and beyond traditional fundraising.
Launched in 2014, the Holiday Market offers L'Oréal Canada employees across our four Canadian sites the opportunity to purchase surprise boxes filled with products at discounted prices. All proceeds are donated to Centraide of Greater Montreal. This year's innovation, the "Solidarity Box" with its automatic $20 donation, further amplified the generosity of our employees.
Beyond its charitable aspect, the Holiday Market is a festive and engaging event. Hot chocolate stations, local honey from the L'Oréal Kids daycare center, and prize draws from our partners all contribute to the warm atmosphere. A dedicated Centraide kiosk also raises awareness among participants about responsible consumption and the impact of their contributions.
This Solidarity Innovation Award is a wonderful recognition of our employees' exceptional dedication to supporting the most vulnerable members of our community. It encourages us to continue our efforts to create beauty that moves the world, one initiative at a time.
