L’Oréal Paris Indonesia Distributes 140,000 Free Hand Sanitizers Because #WeAreWorthIt
Jakarta, 18 May 2020 – L’Oréal Paris as the world’s number one beauty brand always championed and celebrated everyone’s empowerment in all circumstances. This time in the fight against COVID-19, L’Oréal Paris Indonesia produces and distributes 140,000 units of Hand Sanitizer Gel Hydro-Alcoholic free of charge to empower and protect all L’Oréal Family who is still working from the field or home.
Manashi Guha as General Manager of Consumer Product Division L’Oréal Indonesia explains: “We believe every individual is worth it. With its philanthropic culture, L’Oréal Paris wants to play its part in the fight against COVID-19 by supporting our family to live their life beyond healthy. L’Oréal Paris Indonesia supports the protection of our own family including employees, business partners across the division, salon partners, and even medical staff. These diversity parties showed us that everyone, whoever you are, wherever you’re from is worth it.”
L’Oréal Paris Indonesia believes that important in keeping every employee and their health as a priority. Therefore, all of these parties will get 125 ML Hand Sanitizer Gel Hydro-Alcoholic free of charge, produces and distributes by L’Oréal Manufacturing Indonesia in Kawasan Industri Jababeka. This contribution apart of the total IDR 32 billion rupiah contributions of the L’Oréal Indonesia COVID-19 solidarity program.
One of the important family member of L’Oréal is its hairdresser community who have dedicated their lives to helping people feel good about themselves. Thus, L’Oréal Indonesia also ensure to distribute our hand sanitizer to almost 15,000 L’Oréal salon business partners across Indonesia. “As one of the salon partners, I would like to express our gratitude and admiration to L’Oréal Indonesia. While most of our salon is temporarily closed, we are still striving our sales in other ways. L’Oréal also supports us by providing safety and hygiene training so we can refight our business post-pandemic period. We believe this kind of love and support encourage all of us in this extraordinary situation” said Rudy Hadisuwarno.
In addition, L’Oréal Paris Indonesia does not forget the community of health workers. They play a key role during this pandemic to save our family's life. “We allocate 5,000 units of our hand sanitizer to respect and protect our medical staff representative in various remote areas in Indonesia through DoctorSHARE” added Manashi. DoctorSHARE is a nonprofit humanitarian organization which actively cooperating with many health organizations to distribute as much as supports as possible for medical staff across Indonesia during this pandemic.
