Since day one, Mugler has been committed to a more sustainable approach to beauty, making the brand a pioneer in refillability. All the brand’s Eaux de Parfum can be refilled at home with Mugler Refill Bottles, and its iconic fragrances Angel and Alien – and now Alien Goddess – can be refilled in-store at the Mugler Fountain.

On the occasion of the 75th Festival de Cannes, L’Oréal Paris will honor one promising female short film director in the second annual edition of the brand’s signature Lights on Women Award program. The winner will be chosen from the Short Films Competition and La Cinef's selection at Cannes. The Award will be presented by Academy Award-winner, L’Oréal Paris spokesperson and Juror, Kate Winslet, at the Jeune Cinéma dinner in Cannes on May 27.

Additionally, this important recognition reflects the brand's values when it comes to sustainability and its long-standing commitment to developing products in a way that limits their impact on the environment, from the design stage, to manufacturing through to the end of the product's life. Through its ongoing commitment to its sustainable practices, the brand aims to achieve Gold level certification in the coming years.

36 cosmetics and personal care companies as well as professional associations have joined forces to form the EcoBeautyScore Consortium, aiming to develop an industry-wide environmental impact assessment and scoring system for cosmetics products.
