L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science
As a company grounded in scientific DNA that promotes best practices in gender equality and diversity, L'Oréal, in partnership with UNESCO, launched a unique scholarship program for Women in Science in 1998, which recognizes and celebrates the achievements of women scientists. Poland was the first country to organize a local edition of this global initiative: the first awards in Poland were presented in 2000.
To date, 129 young, talented women in science from all over Poland have received scholarships under the program to continue promising projects in the life sciences. For more information, visit http://lorealdlakobietinauki.pl/.

At L’Oréal, we care for animal welfare and we do not test on animals. We are for beauty with no animal testing.
Since 1989, 14 years before the EU regulations required us to do so, we have not tested the safety of our products on animals.
Because we care about animal welfare, over 40 years ago, L’Oréal pioneered the development of human reconstructed skin that can be used to evaluate how cosmetic ingredients and products behave on human skin.
