Matthieu Guerin
Chief Digital & Marketing Officer
Matthieu is a digital native with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has joined the L’Oréal Groupe in 2017 as Head of Digital for Garnier in France, following a career with Publicis, CANAL+ and Unilever.
In the Digital role, he steered all digital components (site, ecommerce, social networks, product activation) for Garnier and achieved the digital transformation of the brand, from improving the digital content on both campaigns and ecommerce, to delivering the most emblematic programs. In 2020, Matthieu moved to Los Angeles to serve as VP, Global Digital, and eCommerce for NYX Professional Makeup. Under Matthieu's leadership, NYX Professional Makeup has strengthened its position as a digital best-in-class brand. He implemented crucial digital innovations across all markets and pioneered WEB 3 for the group, launching GORJS, the first ever beauty DAO.
From October 2023, Matthieu took his new role as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer of L’Oreal Vietnam, where he continued to spearhead the transformation of L’Oréal Vietnam in digital, social commerce, advocacy, and media. Under Matthieu’s leadership, the team has managed a comprehensive e-commerce picture of online platforms (Shopee, TikTok, Lazada) and developed new digital projects in close collaboration with corporate teams and the brands.
